After loading your specimen, all of the operation of the FSX100 is controlled by your computer mouse. Specimen movement, focusing, color selection and image capture, are all a mouse click away.
A 0.42x to 2x zoom lens is provided as standard.
Zooming in to 17x to 80x can be attained simply with the mouse.
You can move the stage in any specimen by dragging the cursor on the screen with the mouse, and moving the target to the center of the screen by double-clicking the target.
The correction ring is automatically adjusted by clicking a button on the screen. The image in focus is displayed live. Clicking the button while viewing the live image allows you to acquire an aberration-free image.
