An overlay image can be viewed on the display simply by clicking the button for the fluorescence channel you want to overlay. Thus, you can take pictures of the overlaid images quickly.
Direct Overlay is an advanced and powerful function of FSX100. This allows you to overlay the captured images over a live image with just one click, which is very helpful for multi-color fluorescence specimens. If the live window is moved to a new image, all channels and Direct Overlay are updated.
If misalignment is identified in the process of direct overlay between the section to be shot and the live image, the alert & automatic re-acquisition will become active with a single click. In addition, it is also possible to capture images from all fluorescence channels at once, which contributes to more efficient laboratory work.
In the direct overlay mode, thumbnail images from individual channels are displayed. Overlay images and the thumbnail images from individual channels are displayed in conjunction, so all the images can be checked at once to ensure the correct one is selected for picture taking.
