The correction ring is automatically adjusted with the click on a button on the screen, and the image in focus is displayed live. Simply click on the button while viewing the live image, and you should be able to acquire an aberration-free image.

The neutral density filter and binning are automatically removed/replaced to ensure that the frame rate is the appropriate one to allow taking microscope pictures always under the possible minimum quantity of excitation light. Thus, FSX100 allows microscope observation under the minimum required quantity of excitation light without damaging any specimens and without the need for any manual operation.

Fluorescence excitation light is very bright and potentially damaging to fluorescent molecules. During periods of inactivity, the FSX100 automatically shutters the excitation light source to minimize the amount of time any one area of the specimen is exposed.
