The FSX100 comes complete with three fluorescence filters built-in. Ultraviolet, blue and green excitation filter sets allow the imaging of a wide variety of fluorescence specimens. These high performance, hard coated filters are robust and combine with superior Olympus optical components to produce stunning fluorescence images.

Phase contrast

The FSX100 includes a Projection Phase contrast system. In a standard microscope, the phase annulus is housed inside the objective and can be difficult to align. It also attenuates light. With Projection Phase, the annulus is outside of the objective allowing maximum brightness when not in use, and a precentered design.
